Equal application of the law for all. This means police are recruited, trained, resourced and performance managed to treat folks the same regardless of colour under the applicable law. BLM is the acronym used to convey the above meaning. Post Script While of lesser importance could Bungie apply the same principles to pvp please. Policing efforts to keep the game cheater free are clearly inadequate and need more resources.

  • BLM is nothing but an agenda for sympathy votes from a certain side. That's all the right and left is. An agenda planned to prosper while the people cower in fear or fight each other 🐑

Thanks for your comment stoopkid. I trust you and your fam are weathering these unusual times. I agree with you, that both sides have their agenda and that the agenda of some (not all) folks on both sides isn’t always intended to address the objective of equal application of the law regardless of colour, creed or self identification. Self interest is powerful juju. I could talk about the origin of the term BLM, how it predated and was co-opted by an organisation in 2014 and then the confusion that emerges when folks confuse the two. No matter. How about we forget the term BLM completely and focus instead on achieving equal treatment. I invite you instead to offer your thoughts/feelings in relation to my proposition about equal treatment and the suggested areas of focus in regard to policing to help achieve this outcome for all. My thanks in advance of any comment you may share. The same invitation btw is extended to all.

  • I see people...feeln a certain type of way....when they read Black lives matter and in the same sentence white people won't understand. I see Black lives capitalize in every sentence, but no other color is ever capitalized. When people ask me why this is, I tell them, I'm not sure. I ask if it bothers them. They say not really, but they get this weird feeln when they read it. I'd like to know if you had any thoughts on that. Is it in some weird way racists, for white people to get upset over that? Do you believe if White man was capitalized in every sentence but black, brown or yellow was not, would be a show of dominance? Should I just tell people they are just reading to much into that? After all, I'm not the proper grammar type.... The people that know me, all I had to do was give a quick look, ( the look meaning c'mon man ). But it seems some people are truly upset over it. What are your thoughts on that?

It’s convention to capitalise acronyms . Acronyms are used as convenient abbreviations to save lots of typing. For example CASA is used in place of Civil Aviation Safety Authority, BLM for black lives matter. And so on. As regards the weird feeling specifically associated with the acronym BLM my sense is this has more to do with the discomfort some folks feel when they are confronted with the idea that people of colour or of differing self identification are not in fact treated equally in line with the founding principles that are said to define America and Americans.

No, I apologise for the confusion, but it's not referring to any organization. Besides ...plenty of people here and there are arguing that this ISN'T about the organization. Just simply Black man, white man, brown man, yellow man. Not in reference to any organization. Edit - again maybe I'm not making myself clear. It has no reference to an acronym.... organization....anything. it's clear as day throughout this entire thread. People always capitalize the term Black. In any and all retrospect. It is the only thing capitalized. I've read online reports, news articles, this very thread.....it's just a simple reference to the color of their skin, but it's capitalized and all other colors referring to color of skin....is not. Hopefully that clears it up.
