A genuine thank you to Bungie, and all the staff, a little story for you

So not sure if this will even be seen but I wanted to give a little light in the dark. A year ago today I met someone in the Menagerie who changed my life forever. I've been playing destiny for years, made new friends, played with old friends some stayed some went. But Destiny has always been a home for me, regardless if I had good or bad things to say about it I wanted the game and world to succeed because I knew how much it meant to both me and others. But a year ago today I met my girlfriend, in quite possibly the best way possible in Destiny, through Tbagging and emotes. As time went on we both talked and realized we had half a group who wanted to do raids, others who didn't really care for it. So we finally organized and set up a raid and finally comepleted our first Scourge of the Past raid, after 13 hours and basically headbutting our way through it but it got done, and if only we had a way to save the in game chat for all the stupid laughs and noises that were made. Finally sitting down and talking we decided to merge our two groups together and start up a more consistent group and upgrade the clan. As time went on we did more raids, completing the Last Wish, Leviathan, and the Crown of Sorrows. Going on longer and longer I started to realize I had a close bond and click with her. What felt like years of knowing each other was only months and I already knew what I was feeling. Finally after talking about our feelings we decided to give it a shot, though the difficulty of long distance relationships and litterally being on the other side of the world is a challenge enough, and then finally after getting dates set to see each other and meet, Covid-19 hit and that went down the drain. Luckily we are still going strong and more determined than ever to see this through because the chances of what happened are so slim. But in this time Destiny has given us a place to hang out, a place to call home and make plenty of fun and amazing memories even in these challenging and difficult times. I wanted to give a genuine thank you for the wonderful world and community that you have made with Destiny, and even giving a place to make memories, friendships, and even relationships a place to flourish. I'm sad to see content vaulted especially the place where it all began, but I know there's plenty to look forward to in the future and even to revisit content that I both have missed and get to experience it with those who have not seen anything from the past. I'm not sure if this will be seen or even heard but Bungie from the bottom of my heart thank you for all the hard work you have out into this game, and plenty of us appreciate and love what you do. Thank you for giving a little light in the dark.
