Just saying but we cannot recreate Necrochasm because Crota is dead and can't get another Crux of Crota
Also we can't recreate Touch of Malice because Oryx's bound essence was in the gun and was destroyed in the Red War so ...

If everything was going to be done according to the lore then we would not be getting Vault of Glass or any other returning raid. So, while you are correct in every sense that bringing them back would break the lore, it doesn't break the lore anymore than the raids coming back. And if Bungie is going to bring back Destiny 1 raids to Destiny 2, shouldn't their raid exotic return too?

And if Bungie is going to bring back Destiny 1 raids to Destiny 2, shouldn't their raid exotic return too?[/quote] The Vault of Glass is returning but won't be the same, they're adding champions and changing things up a bit, it won't be like in D1, which logically in terms of chronology you wouldn't be able to get Vex Mythoclast because bungie would most likely make the Templar and Atheon both nightmares, same with any other raid if they bring those back Putting D1 raids as is back into D2 along with the weapon, armor and exotics from those D1 raids (including quest based ones) into the D2 version is stupid, if they do then they better make that content free and meticulously make up some kind of bs story up on how and why it's even possible to get certain weapons back without the original bosses (Crota/Oryx) being around Both Necro and Touch had use of Crota's and Oryx's souls to work as they were put inside of the guns, one fed on Crota's soul to "evolve" and the other simply contained a part of Oryx's soul (Ravenous Heart)

[b]Two:[/b] As stated in the post, the Destiny 1 Raids returning to Destiny 2 would need tweaking and re-balancing to account for changes in subclass abilities. [b]Three:[/b] If they make Atheon and Templar nightmares, what's stopping them from making Crota and Oryx a nightmare? Hell, Crota is already a nightmare. [b]Four:[/b] [u]Personally[/u], if they brought back the old raids but not the old gear, including the raid exotic, I would feel like there's something missing and/or lacking from the raid. [b]Five:[/b] While I too appreciate when lore, gameplay, and chronology merge to create the ultimate experience, if I had to pick one of three for Bungie to focus on, it would be gameplay. So, [u]personally[/u] I feel that if the old raids come back, and they're just kinda content that is there and not there for a specific reason in the lore and chronology I'd still be perfectly fine with it as long the raids, and their respective gear, are fun to play and use.
