I know it’s weird having 2 archetypes so close in rpm, but it’s possible to incentivize use of both archetypes. They were both meta simultaneously on PC for a while because 140’s had significantly more range. For the sake of console, 140’s need more forgiveness too.

Edited by Haunter: 7/16/2020 11:42:24 PMI could have sworn it was a 110, in any case I dont recall d1 having 140s, wasnt luna/palendrome/lord high fixer/devil you know all the same?

Thorn and The Revelator come to mind. Also there was a “sister” gun to The Devil You Know called The Devil You Don’t. https://www.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Hand_Cannons Any HC with a ROF of 22 on this list is a 140 rpm and 32 ROF is 150 rpm.

Yeah but I recall both revelator and devil you dont to be considered terrible and not being used ever. Thorn of course was but I dont recall any good other ones, I believe all the famous d1 cannons to be 140s even fatebringer and its copy imago loop

That’s true, other than OG Thorn obviously which broke the rules its archetype. But I think that’s because 140’s were 1 crit 2 body. That’s so forgiving that nothing could compare, even 2 crit 1 body which is what 150’s were at the time. IMO having 140’s be 2 crit 1 body and 150’s be 3 crits could work if done correctly. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe both archetypes should be 2 crit 1 body but 150’s have way less range like 7+ meters.

Ace of Spades is 140

Um. Ace is definitely a 140.
