Bungie obviously is aware of players receiving multiple dupes with their pinnacle drops as this topic has been discussed in the Forum for at least the last 3 weeks.
It’s obvious the algorithm is working as intended. Purpose being is to prolong the grind.
Doesn’t it feel good knowing you can grind all the same activities again next week and hope you get the drops you need to increase your base power level?

I think its deliberate. My first pinnacle of the week dropped today, after 4 godawful pvp matches, was the same as the highest piece on my warlock. Turned the game off and walked away, advise you to do the same

Not good at all, and that is precisely why I play less and less and less, if this crap doesn't change I will eventually stop playing altogether

Just don’t buy the new DLC until after release if at all. This BS has been happening for 3+ weeks and nothing has been done to improve things. Bungie doesn’t deserve your money until they actually start to make the game enjoyable for the players and not just a time sync.

Yup totally agree. Cancelled pre-order and getting off the hamster wheel. We all know September is going to be more of the same
