I just recently acquired the Trinity Ghoul catalyst. I must say, it’s insane. It’s fun. But here’s what I don’t get: The catalyst explicity states, “Lightning Rod triggers from ANY arc damage final blow.” I’m using a Breachlight with Osmosis, and upon using my arc grenade, it makes the weapon deal arc damage. This does not proc Lightning Rod on a final blow kill. Okay fine, let’s say it doesn’t count because the gun is programmed as a kinetic. If that’s the case, then why is my Temptation’s Hook, an ARC sword, not proc’ing the perk when I get a kill? It doesn’t proc on a light or heavy attack final blow. Why not? It sucks, because I thought of an interesting build for my warlock (currently equipped) but... it doesn’t quite work how I thought it would. Verity’s Brow states “Energy weapon kills provides a bonus to the damage of your grenades...” Lightning Rod arc-chaining kills do NOT proc Death Throes. Why... NOT? The perk states ENERGY WEAPON KILLS. [b]I AM GETTING KILLS WITH MY ENERGY WEAPON.[/b] Bungie. I will never understand why you put descriptions on weapons and perks if they simply are not true most of the time. [b]Now, my question(s): Is this a bug, or is this “working as intended?”[/b] If it is the former, a hotfix would be great, as I really was excited for this build.
