It is a shooter game with aliens and alien weapons.
Everyone in their right mind would expect flashes on screen.
It is basic video game knowledge.
I think this issue would be somewhere at the bottom of things bungie might look at one day.
Because it is basic knowledge to not play video games when you have those issues.
I am sorry for your friend.
But by agreeing to terms and conditions he also agreed to bungie not being liable for harm done to a persons health by flashing images.

Again, literally the only thing that has ever caused them issue across both Destiny 1 and 2 is the orb guard from Effigy. One single thing. Why are people acting as though changing something for accessibility is a horrendous crime against the integrity of the game? Did you also complain when they added colorblind settings?

Out of all the things this game has, the ball is what triggers it? Not the Code of the Commander detonator chain explosions, firefly chains , boss fights etc? That’s pretty odd. There are definitely way worse visualization things in this game. Mean no hate/haze or anything along those lines... it’s just odd that is the trigger.
