That's unfortunate but you were warned.

 • Ah yes, games from at least a decade ago that had epilepsy warnings while Destiny has none, you're right, totally warned, this issue can never possible be changed or anything despite Bungie always talking about inclusiveness and the importance of their players, my mistake.

 • Destiny did too. Every shooter out there contains an epilepsy warning. Using guns very intrinsically involves flashing lights.

 • First off, I literally have the box in front of me. No epilepsy warning. Second, you're being pretty non-inclusive about this. What's the harm in changing an in-game effect so more people can play without literal health issues?

 • The game can't be adjusted to accommodate every conceivably impairment or condition. It's just not tenable or realistic. The nature of firearms are always going to be dangerous to epileptics. Even if they changed to effect to benefit your friend, there are people with worse epilepsy that may still suffer from even the reduced effects. You would have to remove the VFXs entirely to "accommodate" everyone.

 • Bungie has a history of accommodating many debilitations; they've even gone so far as to add color blind modes, and controller accessibility options (even if it broke sprint for a while). The arrogance of your "do nothing" position is astounding. Especially considering that adjusting the intensity of the animation isn't an overly difficult job.

 • So we can nerf guns in a video game because people complain they're too strong, but we can't change the effect on a giant glowy ball when it causes physical, real-world harm to someone's health?
