Yep, when they pulled their "soft reset" when Taken King launched it was the beginnings of a bad precedent. Sure, you could keep using your old favorites, but they were stuck at ridiculously low light levels rendering them useless in any activity that mattered. Then they started reissuing old elemental primaries as "exotics" which was also bullshit. They even started reissuing some old, Y1 weapons through the Vanguard bounties. It's always been a bullshit ploy to push players into new gear even if it is not as good as the old gear because the new gear has a higher number attached to it. And reissuing the old gear is not a new trick for Bungo.
