Sunsetting isn't a bold move, it's just a bad move.

Bungie, if you think sunsetting is a bold move, that allow your franchise to grow further, think again. All your communication, intention and justification are sketchy, wobbly and opaque.

I wouldn't even be too bothered about sunsetting if bongo was still capable of making fun, powerful and interesting new weapons. But shadowkeep hasn't proven them to still have that capability. My favorite weapons in D2 still remain Y1 rehashes and Y2 weapons. I'm not using a single shadowkeep weapon, they are just... bad, or mediocre at best. Not the least because none of the new weapons come with scope options, severely limiting their range potential. I mean, what am i supposed to replace my focus lens, feeding frenzy, rampage blast furnace with? I wouldn't call that an OP weapon by any means, but there is nothing in shadowkeep that comes close to that, or (m)any other older legendary weapons i'm still using. Once my collection of go-to legendary weapons are forcibly retired, i'm probably just gonna rely exclusively on fighting lion (which i admittedly already love to use) because none of the weapons that have came out lately interest me enough to motivate me to even grind for them.
