Why has no one cared about this until aztecross makes a video on it? Seriously I have made 5+ high effort posts about cheaters in the past year and have been banned at least 3 times for name and shaming out of spite and no one ever cares. But now he makes a video and it’s like this is some new thing.

I mean that's just how it is. Someone who has a platform with enough followers will have people who try to spread their message. I think it was last week we had a guy calling for Foetracer nerfs because Mtashed made a video. -blam!-ing Foetracer? Not that it matters too much anyway. Bungie will just give the same, "Don't worry, our Anti-Cheat is so good you can't even see it" every three months and carry on

Same with sunsetting. The same ones who called me a hater for predicting the reskins,reissues, and rerotations of gear are now posting their favorite content creators saying the same things now.

Wait - are you angry because a streamer with a community of more than 400k subscribers has a bigger voice than some anonymous guy on a forum (no offense - but hey) ? And it's not like it's something new - more than he's totally fed up with that. Take it easy, the more people speak about it - the more there is chance that bungie take some serious and radical measures about it.

I’m annoyed because no one on the forum cared about this until he made a video. I have been trying to bring attention to this for a year and have given up because it is fruitless. All anyone says is “PC MASTER CHEATS LOLOLOL NO CHEATERS ON CONSOLE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA” and I just don’t bother. But aztecross makes a video and suddenly wayy more people on the forum are talking about it. I have no vendetta against content creators like most people do. But I have a problem with the people who don’t care about something until a streamer tells them to care about it.

You try on here to raise awareness about cheaters and it’s just an echo chamber of “NO CHEATERS ON CONSOLE HEHE PC MASTER CHEATS LELELLELEL” and it’s just useless. A month ago I matched a blatant cheater in comp and made a most on here calling for the removal of comp and trials from free to play because I’m tired of the endgame PvP modes having cheaters. The post was shot to hell with downvotes and 200+ replies of people saying “The free to play players are more important than cheaters” and of course a slew of pc master cheats comments. It is just a fact that the community does not care as long as it doesn’t affect them and until the whole community cares, bungie probably won’t care either. And the whole community will never care so TL;DR play something else that is more worth your time

That's true, players don't seem to care unless it affects them. But also there isn't much we can say or do about bungie handling cheaters (or anything really). Then you have ninjas locking threads and banning us for raising awareness. I've been seeing the cheater posts a lot for months, and every single one of them got locked. Rock and a hard spot situation.
