Sure it’s worse for new players but damn, I barely played since January and I saw the season was laying the story for next expansion so I wanted to jump back in. I’m 960s and the amount of crap on my display to do and finding the most efficient way to do it all is not fun.

I’m finding it pretty overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time. Stuff I should do but can’t be bothered with just cluttering up my screen.

I feel the same way. The amount of items and the time required to complete is overwhelming but the rewards and results are underwhelming that I just can’t see why I would do it. Same activities, same kill X number with Y weapon, etc is just not fun.

Bungie wants it to be your hobby. I have several hobbies and like to devote time to each. Now Destiny is more like a full time job if I want to run every raid, every quest, get every armour piece etc... I dont have that time. And half the time I play I seem to be turning in engrams or collecting bounties so I log in and it’s 20 minutes before I fire a shot!
