Been on that Stellaris binge. Right now I have a race called the ghoul, basically humans that got separated a long time ago from the ones that made it to earth. Lucky thing, Sol, with humans that had just discovered FTL, spawned on one side of my borders. I'm also uplifting a pre spaceflight race, and one pre sentient race. The first will become its own territory, the other will become another species in my empire, The Shadowfell. I saved the ancient race and made synth bodies for them, they have full citizenship as well as their own planet in the empire, There's three fanatic xenophobe empires in the galaxy that I am basically always at war with, and one slaver empire, that I have neutered and made a tax paying subject under my "protection". Basically I'm milking them before I finally dispatch them. Surprisingly I've only colonized 3 planets, and 13 starbases, but I have 6 fleets at 150 units around 50k power each, which combine with my starbases being placed at choke points and wormholes, means no one is breaking down the door any time soon. I'm trying to build up some nearby smaller egalitarian empires to form a federation, but no matter how many free resources I throw at them they seem to never grow. Every so often I take my fleets on a raid, capture alot of territory and then dismantle the outposts, eliminating the territory all together, this way I keep the enemies small, without making my empire grow too fat to be effective in research. This has been my last two and a half weeks work. It will be a few more weeks still before I can finish the final battles to purge the galaxy of the xenophobes. The crisis ships arrive at year 2900, which is 300 years away, so I need to get on with it, haha.

Outer worlds: If you liked fallout humor and playstyle then its great game. It’s “short” main story of 12ish hours but I took me 35ish because I did side missions. Some say it’s fun doing a completion run and doing the main story differently each time (good vs bad or sneak vs Rambo). I only did one run. Death Stranding: Man I went in with low expectations. And I think that helped me love it. The first 8-10 hours are story and mechanic building. I think people didn’t like it because you can only walk (vehicle and better walking gear comes later) and you only have a grenade as a weapon. The last 30 hours are more fun as you get weapons (handguns, shotguns, assault rifles, etc.) and vehicles. There are side quests for Quality of life upgrades, better gear and cosmetics that make the game easily 80-100 hours. If you like lore and cutscenes that helps. With covid 19 i felt the message and theme of reconnecting stood out more. The ending is drawn out with cutscenes but it’s still great. I got attached to this game. I have a cousin and friend who couldn’t get into it. This game falls into the love or hate for many. Hope that helps.

10 was awesome. Never played 15. Wait for it to go on sale. The game ain’t going anywhere.
