Because you can use them for about a year when you get it if you are getting everything when they come out.
Who the F$%k wants to use the same weapons for 3 + years? Lol

If I like a weapon I'll use it forever. If you don't like it then...use whatever you want.

I hate that we are getting sunsetting for all our weapons when only a handful only needed sunsetting: recluse, Revoker, mountaintop. 21% delirium. Cause weapons like Oxygen and hush weren’t a problem.

one of bungie's issues with pinnacles/pursuits was we weren't supposed to nolife the quests and were supposed to be gradual progression. Bungie said they are trying to remove fomo. These changes are making it that you need to nolife the quests so you can maximize your playtime with these weapons.

I guess you too, sorry had to look at your load out after such comments... oh and i do too
-
I do, until they give me something better to grind for. The problem is that they don’t do that. “That” is the problem here. It’s especially bad when the the “new” weapon/armor piece is exactly the same, just with a new expiration date. Come on, that is some incredible BS!!!!

I do and I want to, it doesn't affect anyone so why not, its nice to have the option.
-
Just guessing here but I am thinking because they have end game in mind and want to manage a particular sandbox of weapons for the end game and manage how you play it. Everyone will just use mountain top in pve end game. Again I am just guessing as I am not an game designer or game engineer. Some gamers like to think they are in these forums lol

You asked who wants to use the same weapon 3+ years, I answered that I do, that's all. Its nice to have the option instead of being arbitraly forced to change it up.
-
Think of it as a parent making their child do something because they don't knos it's for their own good lol.

Oh, so its about paternalism, gotcha. ReAsOnS

Just messing with you. Trust the people who are experts at making games. Maybe it will be good with the new stuff we get.
-
I usually would, really, bungie's track record prevents me from doing so and im strongly opposed to any sort of sunsetting.

Edited by Optic: 7/7/2020 3:05:29 PMI do and I have. warframe is a prime example of this as well. And considering the fact that literally everyone is mad i'm pretty sure they all do as well.

I do.
