I lost my will to do LH and NF midway when they were nerfed. I can't think of a reason to play survival or crucible in general anymore if grind results in useless gear.

that's where I'm at too tbh. Trials as well. I just... no longer see the point.

I bought a PC back in December thinking of trying trials this year. Later I saw the cheats and hacks and just casual pvp is so bad that I don't even want to go for trials. Getting my, soon to be sunsetted, recluse was painful enough without cheats but now there is less incentive to put up.with cheats for gear that will be trashed.

I laughed my balls off when that gun got nerfed because about a month before it got nerfed I said in a post it was going to get the nerf treatment, and people railed against me and said "no way dude, Bungie wouldn't disrepect peoples time like that". Yes, yes they would.

I was just about to get NF back in Undying but the cheating in Comp was so rampant that I've essentially given up on attaining it as well as Mountaintop. Since they're getting sunset, they're throw away Weapons now. I'm gladly okay with Luna, Revoker, Recluse, and Randy's. Don't care for Komodo

I bet the don't care lust if weapons will keep on growing with every season. Also, there is a marketing pattern from Bungie, every season has a OP weapon at launch and people get hyped and streamers usually end up making a raid boss video with that OP weapon. Few weeks later, the weapon is nerfed and people move on with the hype. Moving forward, the hype is gonna be weak as we know everything is sunsetting to nerf at some point so who will buy a content with short expiry date.

no the pattern is numbers dwindle, then they release black spindle, numbers dwindle, thorn, numbers dwindle, then they release last word. numbers dwindle and they release outbreak. numbers dwindle and they release felwinter's. Then these weapons get nerfed after everyone has fallen for it.

Drip feed content to keep the game alive. The patter is obvious. Also, throw the few weeks of OP weapon, farm hack for cores and PL, cheese glitch etc at every launch and you have community hyped and engaged then all gets "fixed". I this season of arrivals did not have the forge farm, a lot of people would have quit by now.
