I think someone forgot to turn on actual CBMM. There is no way this is supposed to be better connections for everyone.

Issues arise if you play against teams. The FT leader may have a good connection....his buddies may be on Mcdonalds Wi-Fi...🤦♂️

This is true. My spinfoil theory on this is that Peer to Peer is improved for teams. I honestly think this is intentional since, from the beginning, Bungie banked heavily on team-orientated activities.
