The house on fire or do you tell them that the other house is dirty and needs to be hosed because all houses matter? Which house should the focus be on? Which race is targeted and experiences injustices time and time again? It's disgusting that I have to use these kinds of analogies with ignorant people like you. Saying Black lives matters bothers you because you are insecure and think that just because something doesn't mention you, it is a threat to you. No one is saying black lives ONLY matter. It is simply a reminder that they do, because if everyone truly believed all lives mattered we wouldn't be going through this bs in the first place.

Good. We don't need people like you in our community. Black people are outraged that this is what the police force has come to. "Make whites great again." It's a systemic problem within the force, and this nation has to make amends for letting racists like that into the police force.

This nation doesn’t have to do anything to make amends. It’s not the federal government’s job to make sure every police officer in every municipality passes the test that shows they know how to not choke people to death. That’s why there’s lower levels of government. If you want to attack the problem, attack the city governments and state governments giving away licenses like Halloween candy after only 300 hours of training.

What does being leftist have anything to do with anything? It's probably true most major US cities that have police brutality are run by leftists. And it's also true that more democrats own guns than republicans. Doesn't mean much. You're too enraged to see the blatant truth that the protocol on which this country operates on when recruiting members to the force is no better than a third world country's protocol. The damage has already been done, and it takes an effort from everyone to correct this nation's stupid systemic problems. Nobody is denying that all lives matter, but we as Americans need to make it clear that black lives are also included in the lives that matter.

Yes, actually. Black lives matter is in direct response to the systemic racism that plagues black people, by responding to that with all lives matter, you are basically saying that everybody suffers systemic racism, no one more than anyone else, which is completely untrue and totally diminishes the suffering at the hands of systemic racism. It also oozes white privilege and is exactly the cover white supremacists use to speak against BLM. Sure, you could take the ignorant, full of stupidity face value approach like you are doing. But that isn't really what is going on when you say all lives matter in reaponse to black lives matter, unless you are incredibly ignorant and stupid.

I think people got things flipped, racism can only end when people are viewed as people not by the color of their skin I could care less if you are black white asian Hispanic, those things do not matter what matters is you are a human and should be treated as such.
