I played all week because i mostly got good connections, before it was so laggy i really didn’t want to touch the mode after completing my bounties, same goes for the people i play with...
Even some friends that barely touch pvp jumped in because for once you could play with a fireteam that had different skill levels and the ones below average didn’t get crushed game after game due to their friends skill rating, and didn’t have to deal with lag on top of it.

It's still laggy and bad for me... like I explained I live in UK in a posh area with crap internet and others have similar issues in UK. I cannot stress how bad p2p gaming is from an infrastructure po9nt of view because even for simple metrics like ping times it's like measuring against dodgy connections rather than a stable server. CBMM or SBMM is not a solution to crucible, we need servers to stop all of the issues plus cheating and hacking (at least reduce proxy hacking)

If you keep matching people with poor connection due to the region you live in the game will still be laggy, unfortunately we are probably never getting dedicated servers for this game since it would require a huge investment from Bungie, as well as rewriting the netcode. The game will always have some lag due to P2P, but at the very least Bungie should minimize the issues by matchmaking us by the best connection possible.

That's what I am saying, it can't be done because connection quality is measured against lame metrics. Given that UK is a big market for gaming (bigger than movie sector now) and plans for internet connection are run by government so Bungie at least needs to improve their regional algorithms.

You certainly live up to your screen name, Fibby.
