There's currently, correct me if I'm wrong, two weapons in the Menagerie that have been recycled to S11 - Main Ingredient and The Last Dance - both with the tetrahedron symbol. Imagine if each season, "new" things were introduced to the Menagerie.
Fun activity, guaranteed drops, choosing your stats and masterwork stat? Sounds fun to me. Even if we'd have to earn a seasonal currency still, or a specific engram beforehand, I think having the option to do that would be awesome.

Yep make all gear and weapons current for season 12.
-
It's actually a fun activity to play when you just want to do something quick. I'm trying to farm for the Cinderchar shader, but I'm not sure what it rolls on.
-
Everything involving the leviathan needs to go seriously worst raids ever
-
I don’t even care about the Menagerie - just save the Austringer and maybe the Beloved sniper... but mostly the Austringer. Best legendary hand cannon in the game imo. (Probably Drang and Calus Multi-Tool need to be saved as well.) I also just realized that if you didn’t already pick up the catalyst for Izanagi’s Burden that might need to be taken care of before Beyond Light. (Just like Telesto, Sleeper, Legend of Acrius and Skyburner’s Oath catalysts.)
-
I understand why everyone likes Menagerie, but we need to stop trying to push old content, let's look forward to new content. I really don't want the first week of Beyond Light to be grinding old Year 2 and 3 activities.
-
Unfortunately im not confident they are 🤔
-
Best seasonal event ever! Will be missed!
-
CoO is coming and I'm positive any bit of content they release from here on out will have similar ways of obtaining loot, much like the prismatic machine in the tower this season.
-
That's a very big if that Bungie cannot live up to.
-
I’ve only played the menagerie a few times and it’s fun, no mic needed, straightforward action, no silly jumping puzzles, straight up kill stuff and move on..I’m still confused on how the chalice works.
-
Menagerie can't be failed, it's literally just "Oh, you spent like 10 minutes in an activity you can't fail? Here's some loot. Don't forget to to bother with the Heroic so you can get a Catalyst." At this rate, they should just let us socket the Chalice and instantly grant us our rewards. Menagerie got waaaayyyy old before Opulence ended. Glad to see it go and free up some space in my hard drive.
-
Menagerie feels rewarding with the bonus rewards and I can't say it gets boring. And the way it's structured allows for new rewards to be cycled in. It's a really solid activity and it sucks to see it go when it is still popular.
-
With their fragile egos it wouldn't surprise me that the main reason it is being cut and not expanded is because it is some of the best content in D2 and it wasn't made by these inept buffoons.
-
I am ok if they give me another Menagerie-like activity. It is a fun game mode.
-
And if Bungo were my mom they'd be rubenesque and promiscuous! oh wait
-
One of the best things to ever come to this game
-
The "problem" with the menagerie as per Bungie, is it was one of the most fun and rewarding activities in the game - but more importantly it wasn't designed by Bungie so they can't have one of the best things in the game to date not made by them still kicking around.
-
Edited by Titanael IV: 7/7/2020 9:56:32 PMJust like Infinite Forest and Escalation Protocol, this is another gold mine of content and easy loot system with TITANIC POTENTIAL wasted becuase for Bungie "making content is hard" and if it is fun for the player, then it needs to be shut down. Why? Becuase if players are having fun and getting a lot of loot and putting all their attention towards an activity... then Eververse suffers and their wallet gets hit hard.
-
They have yet to create anything that has topped the Menagerie.
-
Why do all that when they can bring it back in a year and sell it as new content...
-
while i enjoy the activity i don't like that it's a guaranteed win. takes any sense of 'i really have to put in some effort for my reward' out of it.
-
I'm more concerned about the Tribute Hall. It took a TON of resources to get mine up and running. It's also a great place to visit your Vault without getting kicked with an error code.
