Wait, so what you’re saying is that your friends are having issues figuring the game out? Do they not play a lot of games? Lol If you can’t pick a game up and learn what you’re doing, you shouldn’t be playing video games lol Oh, and you know it’s not hard to look up beginners guides online or look for guides to specific quests? And if you’re not willing to teach friends on how to play a game, why bother asking them to play?

  • I think he means the absolute cluster -blam!- of starting a game in the middle of a season/game, being dropped in to a quest that has no context, given 15/20 quests with no context AT ALL. Then expected to go and find the actual beginning story quests but again not being given any clue which one comes first, which order to do them in or why you need to collect them from a vendor. I came back after an 18 month break and was blown away by the sheer volume of crap thrown at you from the off, luckily I kinda knew what was going on but for an entirely new starting gamer I can’t begin to imagine how overwhelming this must be. Nothing to do with not knowing how to play a game.

  • Ya I took a break as well got situateded in 3 days but shadow keep is not linear. its not like quest 1 is here at this location. quest 2 is at a different location. Foresaken was much more linear. If i was starting new it would take a very long time to catch up to speed. the quests tell you what to do but they are all over the place. you need youtube here and there even if your not a new player.

  • Oh I understand. I was lost and overwhelmed with all the quests I had when I came back a couple weeks ago, I quit after warmind. But you just figure it out. Go online, look up quest names just to get an idea, don’t spoil it. Once you get going you have an easier time. I just find it weird that you’d invite friends to play a game and not help them along the way and explain things to them. It’s like teaching people how to raid. I enjoy explaining the game to people, and while it can be chaotic, so are a lot of other games. This isn’t a simple side scroller or a Battle Royale game lol

  • These sound like things expected of a manager to new hires...... Video games arent a job and shouldnt feel like one. But hey whatever makes you feel superior. Oh and before you comment back i should mention im in the top 12k out of 19.3 mil register players for triumph score and have ten seals. So ive grinded my share to make that comment. 10 seals isnt common ill tell you that. Ive spent thousands of hours in the gaming worlds and most games have some level of a learning curve.

  • I really could care less what your triumph score is lol doesn’t mean anything. The fact you brought it up is actually kind of pathetic, as if it means anything more than the fact that you play a lot. And it’s really easy to teach people the ins and outs of this game, it’s not rocket science. If you invite friends to play, you better be ready to teach them how too.

  • How old are those friends then? If they can’t figure it out themselves. They never play games like this at all? Destiny is pretty easy to understand, grind ,grind ,grind. Don’t expect any decent storyline at all and grind ,grind ,grind the same stuff for ever.

  • Ignored my comment as pointless, made crude remarks, and cycled back to repetition, which is a sign of a manipulative and bully type personality. You dont care what anyone thinks if it doesnt affect you. You attack anyone that has a varying view from yours. You belittle others, and gallop around on your horse as if you have some superiority over others. Your remarks are both unhelpful and disruptive to this community and thusly have been repotted as such. The point of mentioning score is as a highly proficient player with alot of experience and skill it very much validates the point that i can say there is a learning curve. Trying to dispute my experience and skill would be a mockery of provable fact in the place of willfull ignorance and bigotry. Its unfortunate that so many people all over the world like you, lack the basic ability to perceive past themselves and consider alternate theories and views, to think of another perspective beyond your own. Saying something is easy or that someone should do something merely a perception of yourself you are forcing onto others with no consideration of someone elses ability, skill, or experience. No to mention personal goals or desires. In the future i would suggest perhaps providing helpful advice to the person you are commenting to rather than causing dissention.
