They kinda have been doing that already. With Bright dust in the past. They need revenue from somewhere besides expansions. That said though it couldn't hurt for them to put some , not all, ornaments into the open world as a farmable piece.
-
Can't be in that need of revenue if the game went free to play months ago lol
-
Can't be in that need of revenue if the game went free to play months ago lol
Going free to play was a big mistake but given the time they split from Activision what choice did they have? Maybe there was another way but F2P is dicey and we're feeling the effects of it for sure.
-
How do you know they need the revenue. Are you bungies accountancy consultant
How do you know they need the revenue. Are you bungies accountancy consultant
Anyone with a slight sense of business knows money always comes into the equation.
-
Really professor i would never have guessed.
-
uh huh.

Another false equivalency fallacy.
-
Not even going to entertain your broken record. I mean once repeat unsticks itself from you sure.
-
Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 7/7/2020 3:59:48 PMSays the one making another false equivalency fallacy. And you just did "entertain" by responding. Lulz.
-
Yeah I'm not entertaining you. I made my point clear why.
-
Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 7/7/2020 4:08:31 PMYet here you are responding a second time. Ironic aint it.
still a fallacy
-
Imagine responding after being told you're not being entertained eh. Some people.
-
Keep entertaining me. You still made a fallacy and everyone sees it.
-
Eris get your rock, off my map.
-
You are so predictable. Cant even leave when you say youre goibg too. Keep proving my point. Make more fallacies. Simp for bungie more.

"In reasoning to argue a claim, a fallacy is reasoning that is evaluated as logically incorrect and that undermines the logical validity of the argument and permits its recognition as unsound. Regardless of their soundness, all registers and manners of speech can demonstrate fallacies." I'll entertain you on this one occasion since you're fond of smart words Considering I've actually backed up myself on several occasions with logical steps that you don't agree without any reasonable offering of an alternative that doesn't involve regression. So clearly from your perspective it's a fallacy but you hit a repeat switch hoping to drown out any opinion other than one you are happy with. You've proved that yourself in previous discussions. Kinda like when you accused me of psychological manipulation and gas lighting. Since Bungie did nothing about your slight I replied in kind and told you to see a therapist further along because you sounded like you needed it for your badly hurt feelings. I'm sorry but indoctrination is not something I'm keen on the idea of following. But if you're okay with it follow the sheep out the door when the game goes the way you're not happy with. TLDR: I wrote stuff and you probably stopped after the first line. That's who you are to me. You see an opinion you don't like and drown it out with repetitiveness and then make allegations of a potentially damaging nature to further your own agenda. Don't expect a further response. I will stand behind my own words now. A little late but I can be slow in some areas.

Edited by Pr0t0Zer0: 7/7/2020 4:42:14 PMLmao im not reading all that but its funny you think i would. You do commit false equivalency between previous loot recycling methods and the new sunset model that artificially throttles gear and forces the players hand into regrinding recycles. Funny you say you "arent going to entertain me" then make some long winded post about it.
btw i know you read this lmao.
I disagree with the "need the revenue" line of defense for microtransactions, especially when Bungie does things they know are going to drive players away (sun setting, but it's not really an argument I want to get into.
I disagree with the "need the revenue" line of defense for microtransactions, especially when Bungie does things they know are going to drive players away (sun setting, but it's not really an argument I want to get into.
They're a business at some level are they not? Money comes into that equation. Pays for bills / maintenance etc. Gotta pull the money in from more than one angle.

That's why I'm not willing to argue it. Some people believe the revenue lie, but I do not and will not. Especially when the "free to play" label is applied, but only counts for old content that wasn't selling that much anymore anyway.
