Quickplay is not suppose to be a sweaty match every single game.. its a good thing

Except it is, and only those at the very top would say it isn't. The bottom 50% feel lost in the Crucible. Even if their team wins (because the 1 dude on their team was better than the 1 dude on the other team), they still don't feel like they participated in the win. There is a sheer and utter skills gap problem; it is definitely not a good thing to place Tiger Woods in a match against a casual golfer. It just doesn't work. And, for what it's worth, I'm not in the bottom 50%. I'm just sticking up for the experience.
-
I feel like I participated. I'm one of the guys the one guy on the other team is killing over and over. Because he and our one guy certainly aren't looking for each other.

Edited by Madness Tus: 7/7/2020 9:39:39 AMI understand and respect your opinion but even if the 1 dude on your team is better than the 1 dude on the other team, that does not guarantee the outcome of the match. if his blueberries arent doing nothing but dying to the opposition blueberries then its clair regardless how good your mascot is he will not be able to carry the team if his teammates are not contributing.
-
Appreciate it. Think about the term you're using -- blueberries. Think about their experience, not the 1 guy at the top. It isn't about that 1 guy, it's about the bottom 3-4 depending on the match.

Spot on mate, in my experience recently, it is elites dominating, 30 kills plus on each side, then scraps for everyone else, lucky to get 10, matches are rarely close as a result and people quit routinely, including me sadly, it has been ruined for some of us, a very elitist decision
-
Right? And I recognize that sometimes I’m the guy getting those 30+ kills. I’m not elite, but sometimes I do get matched with players significantly below my skill level. And I recognize that, while I had a lot of fun, I know the people I stomped in that session probably didn’t. I’m not sure why that’s so hard for people to grasp?

Edited by OneTrueMandalor: 7/6/2020 4:10:41 PMExcept it’s still a sweaty match nearly every single game. Either you fight sweats in a stack or you fight a bunch of solo sweats. There’s no in between. You can check my KD, I’m not utter trash, I’m actually fairly average when it comes to pvp. But it’s still not fun. I want to have fun and get better at the game, but having to carry a whole team of bots vs sweats is not my definition of “fun”
-
You are correct. The stacked sweat teams just want to steamroll others.
You can check my KD, I’m not utter trash, I’m actually fairly average when it comes to pvp.
You are actually quite a bit better than average at top 32%,
But it’s still not fun.
If you aren't having fun, imagine what it's like for lesser players. I've never had anywhere near even an average K/D, but last season, I could get kills. This season, as soon as I spawn and look for the right place to move, I get hit with Revoker, Mountaintop, Beloved, Truth, etc. This did not happen last season, because most matches I played, nobody had those. Then, I have to face teams where multiple players get 3 supers per match, because they all have the build around their favorite kill weapon (Revoker, Mountaintop, etc.) that gives them bonus super energy.
-
Top 32%? I didn’t think I was that high, always thought I was average. Where did you find this?
-
Destiny Tracker website...i also received one of those, from the same guy after saying that i am below average and found cbmm to not be too bad...turns out im top 20% 🤷🏼
-
Your correct. They also say they can now use off meta weapons. What a bunch of bs
