Cancelled Pre-Order - I don’t trust you Bungie
After the Live Stream promoting their next 3 expansions I was hyped and immediately pre-ordered like an idiot.
Trials changes were after a major TWAB that was supposed to heavily fix things, it is worse lol.
Sunsetting Weapons - I gave Bungie the benefit of the doubt but when I saw my Gnawing Hunger as an exact reissue I lost it!
Sunsetting Gear - No reason for this at all
Solstice Armor promised to be 2.0 ready was immediately useless.
Mods and elemental affinity - Trying to find which mod goes on which piece of armor, let alone the proper affinity, is beyond frustrating.
Not a peep from Bungie on Sunsetting or Trials and every time they touch something, it gets worse. I have lost what little trust I had in Bungie and until I see major changes, not hear about them, I will not be preordering anything.

Another evil EA or Bethesda in waiting. I just do not understand removing planets and raids from the game. I've come back from 7 months away from the game and I understand why new players don't stay. missing key mods and weapons. the game should welcoming new players and allowing them previous key items you need to change and grow the community and yes you can make lots of money as well. look at capcom with MHW or CD project red. there games are fair on the players old and new

4 RepliesTotally agree with what you are saying, I bought D1 and all dlc's and D2 and all dlc's up to shadowkeep for my family of ten gamer's and nine of them said they are done with this game ' thank you scarab lord, all the bad decisions that have been made by the scarab lord has run them off to play other games and has also killed my clan, I'm that last one and will wait to see the reviews before considering purchasing this fall dlc, I'm not a Sheep bungo but a retired Lion at heart.

2 RepliesI quit after the sunsetting announcement sometime in May. Spent a good bit of money in Destiny, too. This whale has finally swam away, thanks to Bungie's bad decisions. I didn't want it this way but it is what it is.

1 ReplyI've bought the physical special editions of Destiny since TTK and after shadowkeep I wont even be pre-ordering the base game. Spent $200 on it and tbh I feel like I should have gotten all the cosmetics from the season pass at the end of every season regardless of if I lvled to 100 or not since I bought the damn thing. This whole year has been so disappointing that Ive determined playing classic world of warcraft made 15 years ago is more fun and refreshing from the modern gaming industry standards of a loot based game. I feel like game devs and specifically Bungie should take a look back. I dont think Luke remembers how shit was back then even if he was a scarab lord. They talk on and on about an "evolving world" but fail to deliver pretty much entirely. In classic wow there is a quest in a zone where you collect the materials for a mad surgeon (but you dont know that) that helps him make an undead monster that attacks the town you were just helping and you can watch it all go down. Theres a quest on one half of the world that sends you to the other side and has an entire secret boss in the dungeon. When you complete this quest you have revived an egg of a blood god this tribe of trolls worships and later on theres a catch up raid with that blood god as the final boss as you directly helped in the revival of it. thats what an "ever evolving" world is bungie not three paragraphs of text that say you did something.

Muhahaha i didnt preorder yet. I was going to wait and see how it goes. Yes i agree sunsetting has made me lose all motivation to chase anything now. If they sunset a few weapons and give us new weapons that are better than said old weapons im fine with it but they just want to make us regrind for old gear. They been using this BS tactic since D1. Why are they sunsetting armors as well? The cost to masterwork armors is too much to be constantly doing it each season. Plus we need like different elemental affinity on armors to equip certain mods which is stupid. We shod be able to equip any mod on any elemental affinity armors. The elemental affinity should just act as resistance to said element. The pit of heresy gave us a fully master worked random piece of armor but sadly that is getting sunsetted as well.

The good thing is it is free to play now. I probably will stay with that route. Additionally you can always rely on black Friday to slash the price of it to get it at its true value.

Mods are super easy. Dont know what your issue is with them. Only took most people 1 week to learn what weapontype is what element.

7 RepliesWhy are people getting mad about sunsetting I love the idea. I love how bungie want to incentivize using different guns. The gnawing hunger been in the game for over a year already. I’ve had it in my vault forever. No just wanted to grind gambit prime for it. It’s time to let go of guns that are over a year old there will be new ones that people will be making post about to nerf and talk about. Sunsetting is a great idea and it’s not like I’m using my pvp weapons in pve. Like revoker I wouldn’t touch it for PVE use it has no value in there. It’s time to let go of the pst and in with the new.

I don’t generally support such feedback but I understand why a lot of these people feel this way. Bungie is naturally developing the game as we go along, no problem with that. I don’t believe there is a blueprint for something like Destiny. But there are other games to learn from. Not only does Bungie not seem to learn from the good and poor decisions of other game developers but THEY CLEARLY HAVEN’T LEARNED FROM THE GOOD AND POOR DECISIONS THEY HAVE MADE FROM THEIR OWN GAME SINCE D1. It’s a level of ineptitude from the executive decision makers at Bungie that is astounding to witness. Very sad. I love this game. I will play this game when I feel like too. But my financial support beyond the basic software is over. They wrote me out of the game with their schizophrenic decisions. Sad too. I have the money to burn.

I have pre ordered every dlc. But weapons and armour sunsetting is the last straw . I won't be buying the dlc. If nothing changes come September I'm done.

We don't ask for 3 new strikes a season, we didn't ask for a new horde mode every season, I don't even care if people use Pinnacle weapons against me, still everything needs to go. There are so many assets in the game they could have used over the years, empty places and spot on the map. They had no idea for them, and now most of it will be removed. They say for the sake of new content, I first want to see that happening, and that means .... the pre-order. They should have done something to Pinnacles instead or sunsetting 90% of all weapons and armor! This is Destiny 3 but worse, because they recycle shit from Destiny 2 year 1, year 2 and year 3. My god this frachise should have stand between the other, most played titans, instead popular single player games are being streamed more....
