State of the Crucible (not good)

Removing SBBM is one of the absolute dumbest things I've ever heard of. Among the reasons listed is, "Provide more places where the outcome of the match isn't as important as enjoying the experience." Let's talk about that one. First, answer this question: how many people enjoy losing? How many people enjoy getting sweated out of a match by 2 people who just crush everyone else in the match? How many people enjoy turning a corner and dying immediately 10 times in a row? 20 times? Every 15 seconds for an entire crucible match? This is the experience of the bottom half of Destiny players. So, here's what's going to happen. Everyone who's already pissed off at the Crucible will stop playing, leaving only the sweaty top ranked players. Game over, Crucible. Nobody, and the Crowd means nobody, wants to play in an environment where they are constantly getting rocked. And since removing SBBM, that's what's happened in the Crucible. Want to fix the Crucible? Same problems as the rest of Destiny -- speed it up, get rid of auto-assisted aim (which doesn't help, but only yanks your aim way off), and put people together who genuinely stand a chance at doing a decent job. It's really very simple. After that, it's an "incentives" question, but that's for a different topic.
Among the reasons listed is, "Provide more places where the outcome of the match isn't as important as enjoying the experience."
Exactly, casual modes in other words - where there shouldnt be 149-150 wins each game and instead should focus on the enjoyment of just playing. Unless you're inferring every low tier players always matches vs high tier players....because only high tiers would be able to kill players "every 15 seconds"
This is the experience of the bottom half of Destiny players.
Who play pvp significantly less then the top half, so should pvp cater to its upper half that grind pvp or its lower half that barely touch the modes?
So, here's what's going to happen. Everyone who's already pissed off at the Crucible will stop playing, leaving only the sweaty top ranked players. Game over, Crucible.
Except pvp numbers are up again as they always are during cbmm time periods vs sbmm time periods. Which means not only have we NOT lost players...we've gained, anyone that drops d2 because of the 1/20 game chance they have to match high %ers are easily countered by the massive increase we got. Not to mention low tier players come and go daily to begin with.
Nobody, and the Crowd means nobody, wants to play in an environment where they are constantly getting rocked. Those that play 4 matches a week for the pinnacle then dip, hardly the ones pvp should cater towards.
