SRL was so much fun. Those racing side games used to be a Bungie tradition. They’ve lost sight of that lately, though, and they’re worse off for it. In fact ever since I stopped playing D2 I went back to the MCC to relive their better days and, lo - race was the rotator playlist. It’s a fun change of pace that every FPS with vehicles should consider mandatory.

sure thing, it will be in the last fall expansion released in the game and will be locked behind an $80 preorder exclusive bundle. All the gear will be $30 ornaments (per class) in Eververse, and that's without all the special glows, which also cost $30 a set. If you want to play on different maps, you'll have to play at least 100 hours on the worst map, which is the starter map, or you could cough up $10 for each single map, and there are at least 7. But we're not done yet, the Sparrows, Shaders, Emotes, ect. that come with this are also locked behind a paywall! The Sparrows cost $5 each, but you have to buy them in our bundles of 4, and the best part: they're all reskins of blues! You'll need collect all the cosmetics for the title: Beep Beep Go Vroom... In total this is only $500, but it exactly what our players wanted

Yeah I never liked racing games before SRL but I found it to be a lot of fun. So much so that I played every event that they had. There was some cool armor and sparrows as loot. Plus it was a cool change from the every day Destiny stuff. It's funny but I often will go on a heroic strike and see some players that don't control their Sparrows very well and think man "you would be a complete failure at SRL"

It was good for leveling if I remember right. But now just pinnacle loot is interesting and I don't think they would grant it in srl. It was fun for a few races but no I don't really need it back. I'd prefer something we rarely get which is new non refurbished Content.

1 ReplyWhy? Just be another pointless 40 g’s of data and for what? It wasn’t that fun anyway. Armor sets looked like trash. After 1 race you’ve pretty much gotten all the entertainment out of the activity.

To be honest id love to see it back as last few events like oven baking and infinite forest are to be honest repetitive and just boring.
