I was hoping that we could also get a Thin Blue Line emblem as well considering that during these times cops are being targeted and attacked and we as citizens should do everything in our power to Back the Blue who keep us safe everyday. The money raised could go right into the departments, to ThinBlueLineUSA, or even to the Peace Officer Memorial Fund and the raised can go directly to the families of our fallen heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep us safe. If you want to take political stances as a company that is fine with me but if we are having the current emblem in our shop we absolutely need to have one that will support our law enforcement officers, corrections, dispatch, Fire and EMS, etc.

Let's not forget that the reason for police militarization is in part due to the increased threats they have to combat. How can you watch or hear of anything like the Boston Bombing and think yeah give those people less gear, communication, training, weapons and bodies.

Their training is trash,it takes more training to be a barber or plumber,a cop is expected to deal with life and death situations,they wield weapons capable of killing multiple people in a matter of seconds. The police NEED more training and far more strict rules because there’s tons of cases having to do with them abusing their power and being far too happy to pull the trigger. That’s why the average person gets worried or scared when dealing with cops,we should feel safe not scared. -

That's more or less my point. Taking money from them isn't going to solve their training issue, training costs money, lots of it. I'll openly disagree with the average person being scared of the police though. Unless the average person is now a felon or has a propensity for violence in which case a cop is exactly who you should be worried about. The majority of police encounters go by smoothly they only take a dive when the people are non-compliant. You fight cops in the court not in the street. Plenty of lawsuits won over a LEO being incorrect only difference is the people that know where to fight, tend not to lose their life.

Caring about black lives is not political,being colored in the U.S.A. Means you’ll be racially and systematically targeted by the police. Saying “black lives matter” is not a political it means you’re sympathetic enough to be considered human,it doesn’t mean others lives don’t matter it means they should matter as much as any other life and currently people with dark skin tones have been getting...well practically slaughtered,if you don’t see an issue with that you should sit down and think,you may think”if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime” but black people get no time and sometimes there is no crime to POC seeing a police badge and a gun in hand is the same as seeing the grim reaper in the eye,if you don’t understand this you clearly have never experienced racism or you’re likely privileged simply for looking lighter. -

In fact last year, across the entire USA only 10 blacks were killed by police and 8 of those were justified. That’s out of millions of arrests. Blacks committing crimes against blacks is a huge problem though, and getting worse every day as democrats demonize the police. There are many blacks who value freedom, have led productive law-abiding lives, and choose not to be victims who also say the OPPOSITE of what you say. You won’t hear the truth in the mainstream media. They are pushing a grand illusion, and they are supported by social media and democrats. The truth is still out there...for now. They are working hard to silence the opposition.

It’s a waste of money that can go to programs that support local communities improve in real ways instead of militarizing police to make them more deadly. I never said to DEFUND the police. I want to see public money spent in the public’s interest. I don’t think Bungie needs to donate money to departments already draining local budgets.
