Don't get your hopes up, they've had months of extremely negative feedback on this and have only doubled down. If you really hate this as much as I do, really do consider just quitting. I won't return in September after 3000+ hours and I've made my peace with that. There's other great games that deserve to be played, games that actually respect your time. Going through the constant frustrations several times a year with Destiny just isn't worth it anymore.

  • Ditto my friend. Sunk countless hours into this game before the diminishing returns became too much. For as flawed as D2 has been, I stuck with it until this most recent sea change. I no longer get enjoyment from playing, and the changes in the pipe do nothing to sway me. I’ve gone back to playing Bungie titles from when they had their act together (Myth II, MCC). They are infinitely more entertaining than anything Destiny is trying to do now or in the near future. And it kills me to say that.

  • Sure, they have the right to do whatever they want, just as the players have the right to stop playing and to stop giving them money. Maybe the company that had to bring its franchise back drom the brink of death not once, but TWICE, would do well to remember that customer goodwill isn't some infinitely exploitable resource. They want to sell us a product, specifically a live-service game that heavily involves its players. Ignoring massive (negative) player feedback maybe isn't the smartest course of action.
