*Dally approaches with her knife in hand.*
“Alrighty, lets calm down here. We don’t want anyone to get hurt.”

Errol turns his gaze to Dally, his pistol still aimed at Skye. An annoyed frown grows on his face. “A wee bit late for that, don’t you think?” He says flatly. “Who are you?”
-
“I’m Daliah Dislay, an adventurer from Offtopic. My friends call me Dally, but that doesn’t matter for you.” “Listen, I’m a little tired and I’d rather not have to fight you, so if you could put the gun down we can all be going on our way.”
-
“As pleasant as it is to meet your acquaintance, Daliah Dislay, I can’t go on my way without taking out certain obstacles. I suggest you don’t become one.”
-
“Listen, I’m just here to help and keep people safe. Just lower your weapon and we can leave you be.”
-
Errol scoffs. “I can’t do that.”
-
“Why’s that?”
-
“If I let her go now, she will be in the way later, and I can’t let that happen. Now are you just going to stand there, or will you take my offer to let you leave unharmed?”

Edited by Dislay: 6/20/2020 9:36:59 PM*Dally sighs.* “No, I won’t stand by.” *She crosses the distance between her and Errol in a fraction of a second and tries to push him away.*

Edited by Gingiebread: 6/20/2020 11:01:05 PMLacking any expectation of Dally’s speed, Errol stumbles back with a grunt. Almost falling over, his pistol is cast to the side. He pauses. “That was interesting,” he says with a curious tilt of his head. Then with a flick of his hands, his Atoms fly off of Skye and speed toward Dally like a wave.
Im really sorry it took me so long to actually get back with you!
Edited by Dislay: 6/20/2020 11:05:21 PM*Dal jumps to the side in an attempt to dodge and tries to land some slashes on Errol!*
Oh no prob!
-
With nothing to protect himself with, Errol tries to dodge the attacks, but is grazed by Dally’s blade on the arm. He responds by trying to grab the wrist of the hand holding her dagger and landing a punch to the side of her face.
-
*Dally takes the hit and loses 6 points of HP.* “Hey gal, mind helping me save your bacon?” *She shoves Errol and imbues the shove with a potion of her power and tries to send him flying at 65 MPH!*
-
Is she talking to Skye? 🤔
-
yup!
-
Gotcha!
Errol is cast a short distance and skids across the ground. He raises himself on an elbow, and extends his opposite hand out toward Dally. The Atoms move in to surround her in a tight hold. Meanwhile, Skye attempts to push herself off the ground, but doesn’t get far before she throws an arm over her side and gives a pained gasp. She drops down again. “I’m trying,” she manages to say.

Edited by Dislay: 6/20/2020 11:56:17 PM*Dal hops up and a light blue light surrounds her as she launches 10 feet at a slight angle to try and avoid being caught! She talks to Skye for a second.* “Sorry, didn’t realize how badly this buffoon hurt you.” *She tosses an ice enchanted throwing knife at Errol!*
-
Errol rolls over and onto his feet, dodging the knife while the Atoms continue to pursue Dally. They almost seem to form fingers as they reach for her legs. If they do grab her, Errol will throw his fist down, causing them to pull her out of the air.
-
*Dal narrowly dodges and lands back on the ground before taking off towards Errol!* (14.)
-
He pulls out an item from his belt that is shaped like the hilt of a sword. A blade shoots out of the guard, and he attempts a strike at Dally as she approaches.
-
*Dally is hit and takes 6 points of damage.* (3...) *She tries to sweep Errols legs out from under him once she’s in range!* (16!)
-
Errol falls onto his side with a thud, unable to react quickly enough. (8) Now in a vulnerable position, he holds his sword ready to defend himself as he attempts to stand.
-
“If you stop fighting and let everyone leave I’ll let you go.” *Dal tries to push him down into the ground with a hint of power to hopefully knock him down for longer.* (Yo! 18!!)
Just to make sure we’ve got the same rolling system, if I roll a number higher than the roll for your attack that means I can defend against it, right? Or are we basing success on the roll plus a character’s AC like in DnD? I rolled a 19 but I just wanted to double check.
-
Im going with higher number wins. The system I use, The Epithet System, only works in d20 rolls
Errol dodges to the side just in time before she could push him. (19) He attempts a counter with a punch to her side. (17) “I won’t let Skye get out so easily just because another Offtopican... Offtopickle... Offtopic... whatever you call yourself here came out of nowhere!”
