If I'm not mistaken there is a lore entry regarding pulled pork (uldrens ghost).He basically claims his guardian could be anything other than a human/awoken/exo as he scans rocks for a potential guardian lol.. so going by pulled porks dialogue who's to say eliksni can't become guardians if they are deemed worthy! If bungie implemented eliksni guardians then I wonder would we be dregs,vandals or captains? or would that be too much to implement into the game hmm! We can only hope lol!
