I'm afk forge farming right now, myself. Now before you get angry with me, understand something: I'm doing it in a way that people like you (trying to actually do the forge) aren't affected. If you lower your power level enough, you're guaranteed to match with other people who are also afk farming. Look, I know it sucks, but since Bungie overlooked what might happen (which, they seem to be doing A LOT) with the Umbral Engram system, try making a fireteam and going into the forge with a full squad. All of that said, the guys in there who don't lower their power level so they can avoid getting matched with people actually trying to do the forge? Scum bags.
