Shûb Among The Waves: A Dark Disturbance

Please enjoy if you want to... or not... I won’t hate you. Something was wrong. Something had made itself known in our solar system.... Shûb could feel it. He couldn’t see it, but it hurt. It felt similar to how he felt when he was near the pyramid on the Moon.... Except it was a much more intense feeling. Was there another one? Where was it? Shûb had finally made it outside of the massive underwater city. But his journey came to a halt yet again. He was out on a walkway, but there were two gaps in it that he couldn’t walk over. He could try to run and jump, but his weight would probably collapse it. NO HE ISNT FAT, ITS JUST HIS ARMOR IT MAKES HIM LOOK FAT! This dark feeling was getting to him. His pained whimpers became enraged screams. He needed to get back home quickly. It wouldn’t be easy finding another portal that just happened to lead to the Moon though.... Or would it? “My child... Come with me.” Shûb wasn’t surprised. Asathi had shown herself once again, but it didn’t look like she wanted to fight. Still though, Shûb inched closer with caution. Ya know something’s wrong when you got an ogre being cautious. Beside her were two more wizards, a knight, and three Acolytes. Asathi made a gesture with her arm, signaling the two wizards. “Come home with me.” They opened a portal right beside Asathi, and the knight and acolytes went through. Shûb wasn’t sure.... He wanted to kill her, but he also wanted to go back home. Was she tricking him? He wouldn’t find out by just standing there. He watched Asathi as he moved closer, ready to attack. She didn’t do a thing. She only looked back at him. They stared in silence for about a minute, and then Shûb made his choice. He stepped through the portal. Everything was black and green for a brief moment. Once Shûb had gotten through, he immediately felt more comfortable..... Although a little bit of that dark feeling was still there. Asathi had actually not tricked him. He was home. Once Asathi made it through, she didn’t bother saying anything to Shûb because he probably wouldn’t care. She hurried out of Shûb’s hole before he got angry... She didn’t even make a loud cackle. Didn’t even look at him. That was a very stressful situation, but now he wouldn’t have to worry about that for a bit..... Although the Fallen had become more active since Shûb had left.
