If you have your Twitch account linked to your Bungie profile, please unlink it, and the Tapir error should resolve itself. Until a proper fix is in place, you will need to leave your Twitch account unlinked, whenever you wish to access Destiny 1.

Thanks for the reply but no my account isn't linked with Twitch.

You most definitely do have a Twitch account linked to your Bungie profile. In a browser session (not the app), login to your Bungie profile, click on your profile icon in the top right, Settings, Accounts & Linking. Scroll down to where your Twitch account is listed, and click the unlink button. Leave the account unlinked whenever you want to access Destiny 1.
