Destiny 2 freezes briefly and closes - no error code
I have an issue that started towards the end of the previous season, Season of the Worthy.
I can start D2 fine and get a couple of hours in and then have a break and then come back later at night to play some more.
But when i return to play, the game will allow me to select my character and load into the destinations but the game then freezes briefly and then just closes with no error code or anything. I have no issues with my PC and other games, i have made sure that there are no background apps running (though nothing has changed since getting D2 when it launched on PC).
It happens once ive opened it, played and then hours later return to play and it happens. i have not been able to find any fixes for it.

I got a similar problem, but i cannot even play for more than max. 10 minutes, and then the game is frozen for a couple minutes and after that it just close and no error is showing.
