Just a question for Bungie and the Bungie community. If, per the 2.9.0 patch notes released today, Hip Fire Grip "Has no effect on Sniper Rifles", then why in the world is it a perk that can drop on Sniper Rifles? Why is there a possible perk drop on an archetype of weapons that, by definition, has no effect on that archetype? Why is this a thing? Even if it is to say that the latest changes to make the perk more desirable, why would you let it roll to somewhere that makes all the changes you make ineffective. If the perk has no effect, then it should be replaced with something that does have an effect.
