1. Destiny isn't Halo...which is good because no Halo game has managed to keep my attention for more than about an hour. 2. Bungie had dumped their "vision in the trash" they'd still be owned by Microsoft pumping out comfortable Halo sequels. What happened is Bungie couldn't make the game they want because of the terms they had to agree to in their Activision contract in order to get the resources to make the game. A poster here a couple months back who claimed to have worked at Activision made it clear that Bungie and Activision never really saw eye to eye on what kind of game of game Destiny should be.

You are the minority here, the majority of people are not happy with any of the content produced in the last year, just because you agree with every decision of Bungies doesn’t mean it’s right

You said the majority of people are happy with this. That is not a fact. You said the playerbase is strong right now, it is clearly not. You say sunsetting is good, the majority of people would say that’s not a fact at all. Saying your opinion is a fact does not make it a fact

Numbers are obviously incorrect and it is the week before a new season so they’re higher then they have been, look at every other form of media for this game, very few are content

People have been saying that for six years. Every time they're mad at Bungie about something, or the game takes a turn they personally don't like.

This game is in far worse shape than it ever has been and its on more platforms. I'm not saying its a dead game its not, but the reaility is its struggling more than it has in a very long time. They also had more resources in the past and struggled they no longer have those and the game is in the absolute worse shape its ever been in bug wise, quality of life wise, gameplay wise etc. Big difference.

Fact is its not. Its just taken a shape that you, and a vocal minority of players don't like. I said this time was coming a year ago when Smith announced his "Unification of Vision".

This is clearly evident. If you fail to realize this we'll have to agree to disagree . Also, majority.. not minority fixed it for ya

You can insist I'm wrong all you want. Facts are stubborn things. https://destinytracker.com/ This is usually the time of year when player engagement is at its lowest. End of a bad season. Spring time Weather is getting warm and people want to get outdoors. Not much to do in the game right now. Yet over 630K showed up to play that "dumpster fire" pve you were talking about. That's the LOWEST I've seen PVE figures go this year. But that has been the AVERAGE PVE daily engagement for most of hte franchises life. I fully expect---like it has the last two seasons----that engagement numbers will bounce back to about 1 million players per day once the new season starts. If Bungie actually folds content that was slated for a Destiny 3 into this launch----and it winds up being a fairly large content drop----that number could go significantly higher once word gets out.

Edited by aequus: 6/2/2020 8:50:04 PMfact is there are mroe bugs than ever introduced into the game, there is terrible loot incentive, networking issues have been at an all time high, incredibly slow response to hackign and all of those mentioned issues also those numbers are misleading. Lets get congruent player hours played per person on all platforms and the activities they partake in. That reveals more than 1000s of players new light players included hoping on doing a patrol getting beavered and leaving the game. Optimism is great, however it needs to be checked. The studio severely lacks resrouces and its clear as day. If you can dispel any of the above issues i've mentioned please do point me to the direction of delusion you currently reside in, as I'd truly love to understand it a bit more. Also, my point is the game and studio is struggling .. this has nothing to do with player influx based on new content drop. The point was the game is chalk full of issues. and it is more so than I can ever recall. If you don't believe me or wanna hear it from me consult the 100s of content creators on youtube, or the 1000s of posters on this forum or Reddit.

Bungle has been in control of this year and this year has been the second worse year of destiny(1&2) only d2 release year was worse. No faith in current management. Best year was when activision held their hand and gave them 2 studios who make a better destiny then Bungie does.

Like there are plenty of items ive seen in this videos weve never even got a wif of during this 7 year career. And the concepts and how everything works is just.... Half baked in comparison... I'm not new to these videos btw.. Ive been around for it all. Since concept art being leaked by anon. The original story line. Which I wont spoil for the new lights here. Most guardians who r still here are the hopeful that we will finally see this story realized. But we r still blue in the face.

Because majority of those who cared arent here anymore. Or have morphed into trolls in the forums because it's literally a meme now. Plus many people dont even know about what destiny was gonna be before it was made into a yearly title installment rather than the one game 10 year expansion plan.
