[b]Okay everybody this is the finale! Thanks if you’ve bothered making it this far :)[/b] The screams of Blubs fury echoed for blocks around and Gannathon lit up the sky with superheated energy. Blub had to finish this here and now or OffTopic would turn into a massive molten wasteland. Gannathons punches were slow but powerful, and Blub could feel the heat when he swung at him. Blub used everything to his advantage, tearing up the asphalt and blasting it at Gannathon, and damaging Gannathons mechanical arm with debris. If he could succeed in destroying Gannathons left arm, then he would no longer have to worry about being scorched. Blub: [b]If you haven’t noticed already, my skin is a lot tougher now! Your heat doesn’t affect me like it did before! Maybe you should just give up![/b] Gannathon: You’re a fool, Blub. The fight has barely begun. Gannathon used his left arm to pump heat into the ground. Blub floated up onto a building to escape the eruptions that had been created. Pillars of fire were spraying from the ground, shooting up magma and asphalt into shops and office buildings. Blub made sure to stay on the rooftops where it was a bit cooler. Gannathon grabbed piles of molten debris and threw it at the rooftops in an attempt to knock Blub off, but Blub was very good at deflecting it, whether it was with his arm or by screaming. Any time Blub saw a chance to get up close, Gannathon would let out a burst of fire from the core of his body. Whenever he did that, Blub made sure to scream and blow the heat away from him. Once Blub spotted a good opening, he charged at Gannathon and began tearing at his flesh. Blubs teeth were great for ripping things up and getting blood all over the place........ he wasn’t joking about consuming Gannathon. The taste of blood and flesh was tainted by bitter ashes in the air, but crippling Gannathon would give Blub a major advantage. Gannathon started swinging his leg around and stomping the ground. He was much larger than Blub was which meant that he lacked speed. Gannathon was able to shake Blub off of him and unleashed a flurry of fire bolts from his arm. He was able to hit Blub a few times and decimate a few of the nearby buildings. Gannathon: [b]I will turn you to ashes![/b] Gannathons arm began to charge up from the heat that was in the air. Within seconds a massive beam of magma shot out at Blub, melting everything in its path. The beam of magma toppled a few of the small buildings that Blub had been using to dodge, and now there wasn’t anywhere to dodge. There wasn’t any high ground that he could take...... he was left in the open. The beam got too close too fast.... Blub didn’t have time to scream. His red glow became stronger than ever before, and his veins were popping out of his skin. Blub: [b]I SAID THAT YOUR HEAT CANT DO ANYTHING TO ME!!!![/b] The beam shot right into his face, instantly burning his skin away. Blub screamed in pain, but it wasn’t enough to push away the molten debris that was taking chunks out of him. He used both of his arms to try and block his face from the laser, but it didn’t do much. He used all of his strength to push back, his red glow becoming brighter than the fiery torrent around him. He slowly inched closer to Gannathon, but the beam was still very strong. Before it burnt him any more, he decided to do something risky. Using whatever strength he still had in him, he slammed his fist down as hard as possible. Blub: [b]Its going to take more than that to kill me![/b] The force of Blub punching the ground was enough to cause an eruption from below. Blub had used the pressure of Gannathons heat to his advantage. The ground exploded, blasting Blub into the air away from Gannathons beam. Gannathon stopped shooting and backed away from the eruption. Blub had become so bright that his red glow began to turn white and it was impossible for him to look up at the sky. Gannathon couldn’t do anything but hold his arm up to protect his eyes. Gannathon: [b]THIS LIGHT!!!..........WHAT IS THIS!?[/b] For a very brief moment, Blub was able to breathe. The ashes that surrounded him had been blown away and the magma was no longer covering his body. He was able to steady himself in the air. He watched below him....... crumbling buildings........ clouds of ashes and dust.......... geysers of magma. The portion of the city they had been fighting in was now a superheated battleground. Blub took a moment to lift his arm, which now had skin and flesh torn off of it. He put it up to his face and felt it....... he had been burned to the bone and somehow didn’t feel the pain at all. His entire body had been mutilated, but he felt calm for some reason. Half of his head was just bone and he was even missing an eye, a large portion of his torso had been melted off, exposing his rib cage, and his left arm was completely numb........... but none of that mattered to him. What mattered was finishing this fight and preventing any more destruction. Blub: [b]GANNATHON.[/b] In an instant, Blub stopped glowing. Gannathon could see him in the sky, and raised his arm to shoot. Gannathon: [b][u]THERES NOWHERE TO RU-[/u][/b]........no. Blub had changed again....... He no longer looked like a burnt corpse. He still had that odd smile on his face, but it was less vicious. He was still a fat alien, but he did not look like a terrifying beast anymore....... there was something friendly about him. Blub: [b]THIS IS MY TRUE FINAL FORM. THE BEAST I WAS BEFORE WAS AN EARLY STAGE OF IT, I GUESS.....[/b] Blub himself didn’t even know this would happen, but decided not to get too excited about it. Gannathon: [b][u]YOU WILL BURN ALONG WITH THIS WRETCHED PLANET!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!![/u][/b] In the final moment of the battle, Gannathon used up the last of his strength in another beam, but this time from his right arm. He could only use that arm because the power in his mechanical one had been used up. The battle was over..... In a split second that seemed like an eternity, the beam had been deflected. Blub had created a force powerful enough to block it without needing to scream. Whatever the force was, it released from Blubs body in all directions. It was silent, so it couldn’t be sound, and it was completely invisible. Gannathon tried to speak but collapsed instead, with a burning hole in his torso. He couldn’t find the strength to stand up....... His bones cracked with every movement he made, and the wires that ran through him were torn open. Blub: This ability is not based on sound, punching, or even eating....... I just had to deny the fact that your beam would hit me. Gannathon: ........... Denial....... impossi- Gannathons words were cut short as his head erupted in a violent explosion. His body jolted, but he had died in only a few seconds. The rest of his body started to glow, but instead of blowing up, it melted away into a pool of magma. There was no longer a trace of Gannathon........ He was dead. The city was silent....... There were no birds chirping, and there were no ships overhead. The fight had brought the destruction of a few city blocks. Blub landed next to the pool of magma that used to be Gannathon, and sat on a fallen slab of debris. He was surprised to see that all of the fire in the area had gone away, and all of the magma had solidified and cooled down. The heat that had been ravaging the air only a few minutes before no longer existed. Sirens could be heard overhead and in the distance, which meant that Blub should probably leave....... He was just happy that nobody else would die to Gannathon. Blub: I............ want cookie dough..... [b]Here is a drawing of True Final Blub!
