This weeks fireteam chat brought up an interesting point, like what if dropping the Almighty is the Red Legion's last ditch effort? Wouldn't it be great if after that they were just removed from the majority of patrol zones?

I mean I've been an advocate for changing enemy placement in patrol zones as a form of environmental storytelling since D1 so that would be pretty cool

Yeah there just barely seems to have been any change since D2 vanilla's story ended, i would've liked to have seen more left over after the seasons ended too

Biggest missed opportunity was the mars community event, it could've had cool lore implications about us wiping the Hive off mars or something Maybe decrease the amount of hive that spawn on the map and just say in the lore they've been completely killed off (only being kept in the game for gameplay purposes)

That would've been a good reward to see, though i think that event was just done last minute as something to do when Shadowkeep got delayed
