I see 2 major problems with your theory. Their names are Unveiling and Confessions.
Unveiling tells the story of the gardener and winnower, assumes to be the traveller and darkness, and the beginning of their existence, predating reality as we know it.
Confessions tells the story of how Calus sees the days leading up to the darkness’ arrival. He intends to destroy everything and everyone before finally killing us (his favorite shadow) so he may be the last sentient being alive and be killed last by the darkness.

Edited by BetweenMyself: 6/1/2020 6:28:03 PMIt’s worth keeping in mind that the Unveiling a) was written as an allegory and should therefore be interpreted as a series of metaphors rather than literal truth and b) was relayed to Eris Morn by the Darkness via the “Unknown Artifact” she picked up from the Pyramid ship on Luna, and should be viewed with a healthy degree of skepticism as it is the Darkness’s opening sales pitch (as it were) and is therefore likely bending the story to make itself the more appealing choice over the Traveler On a side note, the predictive text on my phone saw I was typing “bending” and suggested that I might be trying to write “be DingDongs”... and if you know me, you know i use the word “bending” at least thirty percent more often than the phrase “be dingdongs” / (΄◉◞౪◟◉`)
