Its a psychological trap, anyone not smart enough to see past the smoke and mirrors will be like mice looking for cheese in a maze experiment, but the scientist always move the cheese just before the mouse gets to it and waves it from a distance to allure them before moving it somewhere else and laughing at how the mice are still going. The sad fact is they gave away the trap when they said they would re-add sunset content bit by bit back into the game. Basically drip feeding a false incentive to grind and play the game just to get our old gear that we had already grinded for, back. Its so bloody obvious yet people defend it, I don't mind sunsetting if its done rightfully and serves its purpose, but this sunset is literally pointless outside of removing pinnacle weapons from light level enabled activities. Why not just sunset those then? Why armor and weapons? Bungie has lost touch and have gone complacent, prefering to get easy money from whales rather than put the work in and make a decent game. Its silly how shady and sneaky they can be despite showing how bad its gotten... people still freaking buy it. Yeah if the expansions/sunset/seasons actually do end up bringing alot to the table and make the game better then guess people can say "I told you so" but the fact people will support Bungie's behavior and actions with little more than "Its going to good" being said over and over with only a 5 minute compilation of clips of character wearing random old armor shooting weapons well walking without any show of what content there really is in the season is just sad.

I think the Eris Morn shell was the first shell that could drop with both Treasure Hunter and Guiding Light, might be wrong though :D
