*Shakes magic 8 ball*
Don't Count On It
Edit: I'm at about 4000. The 1500 points I'm talking about is to 5500.

Depends on your luck. Been trying to breech through the fabled 3/mythic 1 barrier, and every time I get some progress, I get knocked back down. I’m thinking unbroken for me is out of reach, esp with my possible exit in sept
-
It can be done in about 2 or 3 if you have a streak, maybe even less.
-
I'm sure it can be done, but as I understand it the higher your glory, the tougher your opponents will be (on average). It can be done, but it will likely be harder then the previous 1500 points
-
I’ve made it to 5500 in previous seasons and there seems to be some kind of intense SBMM barrier at around 4400 (you will primarily encounter 5000+ people), so be prepared to have some crazy games from then on out.
-
1500 points is literally easy mode to reach. If you dont belong in the lower ranks, even when you lose matches it rewards you Glory.
-
What's the point though? There are no rewards in comp 😭

Try having to complete all of guardian games for Heir Apparent from may 6 to may 12 because up to that point you would get hit with watercress and newt error codes. And during those six days, having to work. That was truly and mathematically impossible. They gave me 1000 silver. Whoopdee effen doo... That doesn't make up for the cool exotics i could have earned. Heir Apparent, 1000 voices, anarchy.
-
You could but you'd be fighting lobby balancing all the way. SBMM is there but not really when lobby balancing screws you. I played the other day and I was at around 3400 or so against 3500-4800 glory players, wanna know what my team were at?
1800 and 0
As it is, competitive often tells one player to carry their team if they want to win. So if I actually win under circumstances like these, I'm dragging other players up when they don't deserve to climb if they're not helping or playing badly, but if I lose it's because I wasn't able to play in what's effectively a 1v3 game where my lives are being thrown away by my team mates. Sure, I have bad games I don't deserve to climb in either and in that case, I usually don't, however I'm also pretty much always playing people at 3k or higher even when starting at 0. In that case, I'm potentially a detriment to my team unless I play well. Either way, lobby balancing is screwed up and everyone knows it.

it took me 5 hours to get to legend so should be easy
-
I got 2500 in 4. You can too.

I hit 4100 in a single day this season, not even being a stellar player. No fire team either, just freelance. It can be done.
-
Probably not. The matchmaking is awful. I'm on a 7 game loss streak. It's just a pathetic game mode.
-
You can do it. Easily. Just keep playing. Set that goal and keep going for it.
-
I think you can do it in a few hours...

Edited by Lord Yoink N Bag: 5/30/2020 2:03:27 AMJust keep at it. Play the solo playlist and never get disappointed in a loss. Learn and move on to the next game. Its tougg but if I could get my Not forgotten you can too.
-
Don’t hold your breath matchmaking will no doubt screw you. I feel like every time I get some momentum I get put with some person who can barely aim. I’ve had people who have had 3 kills in a full game. The match making is screwed

Don't listen to any of the negative people on here rubbing how fast they got it in your face. If you truly do need help in comp just ask. There are many helpful friendly people in this community. I'd be happy to grind it out with you. I'm on PC and PS4.
-
Matters if you have a job and responsibilities. Seems doable though.
-
-
It's more than doable. Pick a weapon set that is part meta part you. Play 3 games or until the rage of comp consumes you. Leave comp. Return to comp when you are ready. Rinse and repeat. Good luck Guardian.
-
Before freelance, I could only get up to like 1800. Now I'm around 4400 and I just play for fun. I'd say its really doable in freelance.

The box says no.

Absolutely.

Takes like 5 wins.
