But each Ghost is bound to a single Guardian. Which is why Cayde-6 wasn't able to come back after his Ghost had been destroyed.
If a ghost could truly revive anyone, out ghost would have been able to bring him back...and its why Eris Morn says that her next death will be her last. As her ghost was lost when she was trapped in the Hellmouth in the first raid attempt on Crota.
