Sunsetting suck. Why cant they just make more powerful weapons AS they make HARDER ACTIVITIES? Make us WANT TO move on to better things. Seriously, two years just to get ONE decent roll on the Wrong Side of Right that isn't even a god roll. Bungie needs to SHOWER us with loot so we can get the good rolls early in their life cycle or it's not worth it.
Edit: To the people saying, "Wrong Side of Right" isn't even that good: Yes, I know, that's not the point. It only illustrates that it will be possible to never get a decent roll of something you actually want in the proposed lifespan of sunset weapons. Look at the bigger picture.

Remember the Reckoning and how they tried to make a difficult activity to match our growing guardian power only to end up with fireteams requiring Nova Bombs and Tethers if they wanted a chance at even completing the bridge? Power in the game is a balance. If everything is too balanced with nothing sticking out, you end up with boring content like we saw in D2Y1. If we have very powerful weapons/abilities creating too much imbalance, we wither steamroll endgame content or create content that requires meta builds and nothing else (ie Reckoning, and to a lesser extent, the SotP raid boss). Sunsetting helps balance the game without straight nerfs, meaning there will be a rotating meta based on the weapon selection over the course of the year. Also, your newly obtained gun will still be useful in 90% of activities in the game, no reason to YELL IN ALL CAPS.
