So would you rather no reward at the end then? Cause that's the alternative cause they cant reward a legendary after every match or activity... talk about killing the grind and the loot economy

YES I would rather have NOTHING drop at the end than 3 pieces of gear I already know I'll have to shard. If you play a lot of crucible then you'll know that your inventory fills up after a few matches and it's a problem.
Cause that's the alternative cause they cant reward a legendary after every match or activity
Why not, especially if it is for "performance" (like a match win)? It's not like world loot pool legendaries are actually, you know, "legendary". They aren't even "rare". I have 424 legendary drops in my inventory that I haven't picked up yet...faction rewards I haven't spent. But, then, I've been playing for 5 months, so I must have a lot compared to other players. /s

Well that's exactly it... you already get tokens to turn in for legendary weapons. If you limit it to wins will make less skilled players complain and stop playing cause pve aould be easier fir then to get legendaries. Not only that but the matches are short so that would break the shard economy.
-
What "shard economy"? I've been playing 5 months and have 5,630 legendary shards, plus 2,600 more in my vault as transmat effects. I don't even think about "how many legendary shards does this cost" anymore, and haven't for 3 months. It is trivially easy to increase your legendary shard count by 1000 per month without any real effort, and that's after spending whatever it is you want to spend.
-
I find that very doubtful but regardless If legendaries start dropping like crazy then it's even worse. Also you're saying you put in 710 hours in 5 months? Do you not work? Or is destiny full time for you lol

Edited by Kid Backstab: 5/30/2020 1:59:36 AMHow can it be "worse"? There is nothing of significance to buy with legendary shards, so what does it matter if somebody has 3,000 or 30,000?
Do you not work?
That's a bit rude, don't you think, considering the circumstances the world economy is going through right now. Just because you have already "finished" everything (Sleeper Nodes, Corrupted Eggs, Cat Statues, Memory Fragments, exotic and Pinnacle quests, etc.) and don't have much to do now, I suspect that your numbers we're very similar to mine in your first six months, and you probably didn't have to stay at home for 3 of those months. Also, if you got those stats from Steam, I wouldn't trust them. It also says I've got 273 hours in Morrowind, but I've only played it long enough to do some config setup, so maybe 2 hours. If the game doesn't report back to Steam correctly when it closes, the hours just keep racking up.

Nothing rude about it actually. It's more I dont believe you when you say you've got 7k shards in such a short time. Unless you just dont spend. The reason I say that is the only people I see that high in shards is streamers who play destiny as a full time job. Like myself I've got just over 1000..

Winning matches _is_ grinding for loot...in PvP.
-
Yea but you shouldn't be rewarded a legendary every win
-
What economy? There's NO trading system in this game, the economy is nonexistent
