I forgot to add in the OP that we could kill Sav and gain her cunning then somehow trick the deep and win that way somehow. Light and dark are forever. We’re not going to beat either, the most we can do is Constantine the deep and get a good deal out of it

The initial question still stands. Why would they be coming this early? What’s the motivation? I could only rationalize it as they’re coming to recruit us and probably wipe out the almighty for us to get on our “good” side

I’m not sure the question is being portrayed correctly. I know what triggered them to come. I’m just trying to rationalize why Bungie is bringing the full fleet in now. They’re going to be chilling for a long time since we have more seasons and a whole other game to do. Unless, the reasons I stated before are accurate and they’re not coming to wipe the traveler and it’s light out. I’m sure the two can be civil for a couple seasons
