The Traveler? The Light? The Ghosts? Guardians?
so i’m completely new to destiny and have so many questions about the lore. as with all videogames i like to delve deep into their history and story, but wow destiny has a lot! aside from the basic knowledge of “the traveler came, created the ghosts, they resurrected some dead dudes, which then became guardians” how does all the light stuff work? why cant ghosts of other guardians resurrect a different guardian? did the traveler also chose its own speaker? is the speaker for the traveler a guardian? is the light more than just a source of power for the guardians? do cats exist?
