TOP 10 MISTAKES NEW LIGHT PLAYERS MAKE (Based on PC)

1. Never use their Super during a Strike or Reckoning or Survival. They sit on it to the very end, just-in-case... 2. Rarely equip the required Champion beating Mods or Abilities in match-made Ordeal Nightfalls 3. They don't generate Orbs in Strike or think it's important, because they barely use their Super (see 1) 4. They are oblivious to Invaders in Gambit Prime 5. They kill the THIRD WIZARD (Envoy) in Gambit Prime when an Invader is present 6. They rush to quickly revive team-mates just killed by an Invader, so they can be killed again 7. They rush headlong towards enemies in PvE or PvP, quickly die, re-spawn then rush headlong towards the enemy again... 8. They rarely cap zones in Control or Iron Banner "cos slayin'" is more important 9. The ones who do cap zones sprint towards those just captured and away from those that need capturing 10. They get as close as they can to Boss or Major stomps and never take cover from repeat boss DoT or Burn attacks Any obvious ones i've missed or you'd like to add? EDIT 1: 11. Rush to destroy the boss in Public Events before experienced players can turn the event Heroic (Aagghh!) 12. Rush to destroy the boss at the end of an Ordeal Nightfall before experienced players can get an easy 100K points and a PINNACLE REWARD (Aaaaaaaggghhhh!!!) EDIT 2: 13. Refuse to stand in Warlock Wells of Radiance or Titan Bubbles created by team-mates. BUT if an enemy player in PvP casts a Well or Bubble they run right in...and die (SIGH)
1. Never use their Super during a Strike or Reckoning or Survival. They sit on it to the very end, just-in-case... I am just frugal in nature. I still hesitate to spend enhancement cores and I have over a thousand of them 2. Rarely equip the required Champion beating Mods or Abilities in match-made Ordeal Nightfalls Fair enough. Try to at least have 1 relevant mod on. 3. They don't generate Orbs in Strike or think it's important, because they barely use their Super (see 1) Again, frugal. 4. They are oblivious to Invaders in Gambit Prime I'm not oblivious, I'm just so bad that it doesn't matter 5. They kill the THIRD WIZARD (Envoy) in Gambit Prime when an Invader is present Depends honestly. I try to burn through the first couple primeval slayers to get higher damage quicker. At least get to 3x. It also matters if their primeval is almost dead. We may not have time to deal with the invader and try to kill the boss before he kills us. 6. They rush to quickly revive team-mates just killed by an Invader, so they can be killed again Agreed. 7. They rush headlong towards enemies in PvE or PvP, quickly die, re-spawn then rush headlong towards the enemy again... Those shotgun bounties man 8. They rarely cap zones in Control or Iron Banner "cos slayin'" is more important This has been an issue since D1. It is still as annoying as ever though 9. The ones who do cap zones sprint towards those just captured and away from those that need capturing Red on radar? You need to cap zones and kill enemies. 10. They get as close as they can to Boss or Major stomps and never take cover from repeat boss DoT or Burn attacks Agreed Any obvious ones i've missed or you'd like to add? EDIT 1: 11. Rush to destroy the boss in Public Events before experienced players can turn the event Heroic (Aagghh!) Alright. I only do the heroic if it will be quicker to do so. If it is faster to do it normally, I do it normally. 12. Rush to destroy the boss at the end of an Ordeal Nightfall before experienced players can get an easy 100K points and a PINNACLE REWARD (Aaaaaaaggghhhh!!!) I am guilty of this, but I do have a reason. I was grinding nightfalls and not getting near the 100k, so I wasn't paying attention to the score when I killed the boss to only see that we were 500 points away. That's my bad, but 970s aren't known for their ability for an easy 100k.
Edit: I am not a NL player, so this doesn't apply. Just giving my experience and reasonsing.
