How about resurrecting Bungie's original team who cared about more than money?
English
-
They split from Activision. They need money right now. Of course they care about money right now. But they also care a metric -blam!-ton about the game. Otherwise the downright great changes to the game coming next season and in the Fall wouldn’t be happening.
-
Yet, the game still has bad connection. I swear that I have played a lot of online games, but Destiny is the only one in which I have connectivity issues.
-
There’s a lot of other factors to blame that aren’t Bungie, bud.
-
They literally made $300mil from 2018-2019 on eververse They dont "need" money
They split from Activision. They need money right now. Of course they care about money right now. But they also care a metric -blam!-ton about the game. And no, if they cared we wouldn't have had a focus on eververse in the first place... we wouldn't have such a high emphasis on bounties and grind... they wouldn't be trying to implement lazy, half-baked ideas that they are copying from other games. Quit using Activision as an excuse... I mean seriously... before the split it was all their fault, not Bungie's... now it's because of the split... when are you going to face up to the fact that Bungie don't care. You are a number to them, a potential source of profit. Enjoy

Edited by DarkenedAcolyte: 5/27/2020 7:34:43 PMThe focus on Eververse was in order to make actual profit because they needed the money. The focus on bounties and grind was because they put more focus on Eververse because they needed the money. Come the next Season and the Fall Expansion, all the focus is on the GAME, not Eververse anymore. Why? Because they do care How do I know that? Because they’re completely gutting Eververse and the focus on bounties. The very things you and millions of others are -blam!- about. You’d know that if you paid actual attention to the TWABs.

Edited by Vertillian: 5/27/2020 7:45:16 PMAh... so the selling of a legendary ornament after specifically stating they were to stop shows their increased focus on the game, now does it? As to the "gutting" of eververse... no, they are just subtly adding more monetization through transmog... and bounties will be "changed" due to the dropping playerbase 😉 They haven't done anything yet... and they have made these kind of promises before. Smh... It is actually kind of adorable how much of a Bungie Fanboy you are lol. It is going to be sad to see your reaction to the supposed changes next season 😉 Although as a Bungie apologist, I suspect you will support them no matter what they do 😉 Bungie don't care. Minimum effort, maximum profit. Same old Bungie
-
See you when the Pyramids come, bud 😉

Dream on, Fanboy
-
Being faithful to the company who makes the game I love doesn’t make me a fanboy at all. I recognize all their mistakes. Don’t believe for a second I don’t. But I also recognize the efforts Bungie are making to make the game better for the fans.

You doth protest too much, me thinks
-
Someone being faithful doesn’t mean they can’t disagree with something. That’s not how it works.
Someone being faithful doesn’t mean they can’t disagree with something. That’s not how it works.
And yet you don't, you excuse their predatory business focus by claiming it is a necessary evil... You are the very epitome of a Bungie apologist 😉 If you sound like a fanboy, smell like a fanboy and act like a fanboy....
-
I literally just told you that I do. Remember when I said I “recognize their mistakes”? Or did your false view of me blind your eyes to reading that?
-
I literally just told you that I do. Remember when I said I “recognize their mistakes”? Or did your false view of me blind your eyes to reading that?
I read it, but provided an example of what you actually have done, in our immediate interactions.
-
Except that example was wrong, because the world isn’t black and white.
-
Except that example was wrong, because the world isn’t black and white.
No, it isn't... but you claim to see their faults, yet make excuses for it... and then use terms such as faithful towards a company... That isn't realistic. That is being an apologist
-
Again. I will repeat. Just because someone is “faithful” doesn’t mean they can’t disagree with the thing they’re faithful towards. Being “faithful” doesn’t mean having blind faith. Also, it’s not making excuses. It’s the facts.
-
No, it is your subjective viewpoint, there are no facts in your comments. It is what you want to be true.
-
It is what is true and if you can not see that then I’m afraid I can’t help you at all. Have a good day
-
It is what is true and if you can not see that then I’m afraid I can’t help you at all. Have a good day
If you can't recognise the fact that it is your subjective opinion, skewed by your obvious pro-Bungie bias... you can't help anyone.
-
Or resurrecting our enthusiasm for the game?
-
*takes note of time of death*
-
Resurrect Bungie circa 2001, you know, a company that cared about making a good game for their fans.
-
If you go back that far you'd have seen a community upset at Bungie for moving from Mac to Xbox and giving ownership of their IP to Microsoft. Not really trying to validate or invalidate anyone's views, just saying it's not like someone hasn't felt like this complaint has been justified at really any point.
