All guardians got their Light back when the Traveler woke up.

Once that happened i was lead to believe that the Guardians got their light back - which would have included the Vanguard, obviously. :) This is why in Forsaken the Barons have to kill Sundance before killing Cade - else he'd just res. The incentive thing I'll give you, she's probably sick of Bungie's BS like the rest of us.
