Would be interesting to read some lore on this, but I doubt Ghosts have the power to resurrect anyone born before Destiny's 'Golden Age' or at least prior to the Traveler showing up in our Solar System, as I suspect the Traveler's influence/presence has something to do with being 'born in the light' and becoming a LightBearer.
That being said, this is an interesting topic for discussion, though.
Beyond what I just said, and IF the traveler could resurrect anyone as a Guardian/LightBearer, what class do we suppose these historical figures would take?

Anyone can be resurrected. The born into light thing just means they are reborn by the light. Memories are wiped so it doesn’t matter who is resurrected

I don’t believe so, from a technical standpoint. There has to be remains, something for the ghost to scan. That would be the major obstacle. As for the Light. Light existed in the Sol system before the Traveler arrived. It’s a universal law, so long as the Gardener is able to emit it. Everyone is born with an innate Spark. Guardians need to have a strong spark and a personality fitting whatever personality profile the Ghost has to be revived.

This is a stretch but as long as someone existed in a timeline, ghost are able to pull them from death back into life, no remains necessary. The dude stuck in a time warp on the almighty lore is a good explanation on that. The contradiction to this statement would be “why do ghost have to initially search if they can just pull them out”. I dunno. Matter isn’t destroyed so they might

That’s after the revival, when a Ghost is bonded, yes. A Guardian can be completely vaporized yet be revived. That was in a D1 grimoire I believe, a Cabal assessment card. So the contradiction. There is no precedent for there not being remains. Every time it is ever mentioned there is some remains being scanned. We also see them doing it as well. That’s several a years worth of consistency. The single sole exception would be us. Our Ghost scanned but we don’t know what it scanned. 😉
