Hi there. Have you recently gone through starting your migration process on the PC Move page? Can you explain what the issue is that you're specifically running into?

  • All my Savefiles are gone, I guess - in the character Transfer menu there is no battlenet option to choose from =(

  • You will need to go to your Bungie.net Settings > Accounts & Linking and make sure you have your Battle.net account linked to your profile. Make sure you link the correct account if you have more than one. As long as you have characters on that account, they will show as you go through the PC Move setup. If you've gone through the setup before, launch D2 on Steam and get to the character select screen, then quit out and start your setup on the PC Move page.

I only have one Battlenet account and it shows me exactly zero of my characters I had It doesn't even show me the column for battlenet It wouldn't be that much of a pain, if it was only for the progress, but it took all my efforts in getting all the exotic equipments..

  • Make sure you have done the first step of going to the character select screen in Steam and quitting back out before you start the setup process. My best guess would be that you've logged into an alternate Battle.net account by accident, which we've seen happen a lot. Did you get an error message saying the account has already been transferred?

  • If the character on your Steam account currently is not what you had on Battle.net, then you've likely signed into the wrong Steam ID. This usually happens when people use the same email address to create Steam accounts. The currently account ID linked in your profile is 76561198033891814 Log into Steam and when you can pull up the Text Chat, type /ID and see if it matches the above numbers. If not, then you're signed into a different account.

could it be a problem that I've changed my Steam-Link by replacing the number with the name? plus: the /ID Command is not working in Steam Chat - or am I misunderstanding something?

  • You should be able to open up the steam chat box and simply type "/id" (minus the quotes) and it will display numbers like the one I posted above. If you're having trouble with it, try the command in your chat after logging into the game. When you get back the ID numbers, see if it matches with what I posted. If it matches, then you are logged into the correct account and from the sounds of it, you've already performed the migration to that account. If you had characters on Battle.net and they didn't get transferred, then either the Battle.net account you originally transferred was the wrong one and had no characters, or you originally connected the transfer to a different Steam account and have since changed which account is linked to your Bungie profile. If that is the case, then you would need to sign into your other Steam account(s) to find the characters.

  • The ID is the same I only possess one battle.net and one steam account - so that can be ruled out for sure
